I Love America-4th of July

We had a very nice 4th of July this year. For the past couple of years, we had decided to view the I Love America fireworks from afar. Or from a nearby parking lot. They were always nice, but we always felt like we were missing out on something. Well, this year we decided to take a tent and make camp for the day there. We were out there just afternoon and in time for the airshow. We took a cooler and snacks, lawn chairs and a blanket and were set for the day! We spent time playing games, coloring, seeing lots of friends, jumping on inflatables, and eating.....but mostly we just enjoyed the day. I think we are going to get a huge group from our church and go together next year. It would be big fun to have a bunch go! And let me tell you....there's nothing like seeing those fireworks upclose!!!
I don't have any pics of this but I do have to say this. There was a message preached and an invitation given. At one point, Tyler looked around and said, "Is anybody even listening?" I said, "Someone may". But the surprise came when, person after person filed down to the bottom of the hill during the invitation to go and pray with someone! It was awesome!
