My mom recently sold tickets to an upcoming Springfield Cardinals game through her employer. We decided to get a group of people from the church together. There were about 17 of us that went. It was hot that night and tons of people there, but the Cardinals won and ......my mom got drawn to throw out the first pitch before the game!!! How cool is that?! Of course, my camera went out just at the right (wrong) time, but that first pic is of her waiting before the game for her instructions! She was kinda nervous about doing it. She showed up at my house to play catch with Tyler beforehand. He told her she wanted to make sure she made it all the way to homeplate!!
It's great fun to have a ball club like this in town. We love to see the players and wonder which one of them might be called up someday!
