May Surgical Night

Last night was our last Surgical week for this school year. Our special guest was Richard Pointer, a man from our church. Richard also brought his wife, Sandy. He definitely had all the kids attention as he told all of the really cool things that he had done in his life. And let me tell you, he's done A LOT of things! They really couldn't believe it when he told them that he had been a Christian for 59 years! One of the things that Richard does is build things with wood. So, he took the time to show the kids a raw piece of wood, and then how it can change into something beautiful and useful, like a piece of furniture. He explained how God wants to change us and use us too! Thanks, Richard!

**These other pictures are of Richard showing the kids on a globe where all in the world he had been. And then he brought a slide show on his computer of some pictures from when he was in the military.
